You will be picked up from your hotel/lodge at Dar early morning of this day at around 07:30 hour to start a trip to Selous Game reserve. Boat Safaris are also the best excursions for bird enthusiasts. The Selous has over 350 bird species, and the river is the place where they congregate in great numbers and are easily seen in the open environment. You might also want to try your luck with the ferocious tiger fish, and weighty catfish that live in the waters in abundance.

Itinerary idea in detail
Meet & greet in Dar es salaam with our professional driver guide at 0730 hrs & drive with lunch box to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival in Nyerere National Park, check in. Transfer to river bank for the late afternoon thrilling boat sunset cruise safari along the Rufiji River, you will see hippo, crocodiles & birds in their natural habitat. Overnight at Mloka safari lodge with Full board accommodation.
After breakfast, explore Selous with full day game drive with lunch box. Enjoy lunch under the shade of the tree and overlooking Rufiji River. Selous boost larger population of Elephants, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile and endangered Wild dog. Commonly seen are pride of Lion, Bush buck, Impala, Warthogs, Ostrich, Giraffe, Eland, Baboon, Zebra, Hyena, Kudu, rare sable antelope and Leopard. In Selous there are more than 400 species of bird life: Fish eagle, Kingfisher, Secretary bird, Sunbird, Hammer kop, Red & Yellow bill stork, Open bill stork, Weavers, Water birds, Marabou stork, Vulture’s etc. Overnight at Mloka safari lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Morning walking safari with bushman & after breakfast, drive back to Dar with lunch box & drop off to Hotel/ Airport or Ferry (Breakfast & Lunch) and will be end of our trip.
