This safari helps our customers to explore 2 nights (3 days) in Mid-range accommodation in Mikumi National Park. You’ll be picked-up at your place at 5:00 AM in Dar es Salaam at your hotel or airport and drive to Mikumi NP for 6 to 7 hours. Arrive in the afternoon and make an evening game drive enjoying the magnificent beauty of the park followed by next day full game drive before driving back to Dar es Salaam.

Itinerary idea in detail
Pickup at 5:00 AM at your hotel having your breakfast on the way and drive to Mikumi for 6 hours with stop for hot lunch in Mikumi then drive for afternoon and evening game drive inside the park while dinner and overnight will be at Mikumi cottage inside the park. Accommodation inside a park gives you a chance to explore more about animals' behaviors in the night plus an early impressive sun rise game drive (a time where many killings happen).

Before breakfast at 6:00 AM start a game drive in the park, morning game viewing, this is the best time because most of the killings takes place. Make a game drive up to 8:30 am then you will go for breakfast.
Continue with a game with the packed lunches leave for the game drive inside the park to big cats of Mikumi national park, hippos, crocodiles and many more. Take your lunch in afternoon and proceed with the game drive while heading to Camp Bastian for dinner and overnight.

Mid-range lodge located just outside Mikumi NP
After breakfast we'll be interested to show you Maasai culture where you will see the tribe's customs and traditions plus many other things, then you will go to the hotel and pack your bag back to Dar es Salaam, with packed lunches depart for en route game drive along Mikumi. Arrive at 3:30 PM at the hotel for other arrangements.
