Itinerary idea in detail

Depart Arusha/Moshi after breakfast you will be picked up from your lodge and have a straight drive to Tarangire National park with picnic lunch proceeding with a game drive in the middle of the park and be to observe the big herds of Elephants till late evening dinner and overnight at Fanaka Lodge.

Early in the morning, our tour will start from Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara where you will be able to see the unlimited number of birds as well as wild animals found at this park. Tree climbing lions are one of the animals that uniquely identify this park. During the Afternoon travel to Lake Eyasi where you can be able to do Datoga (Black Smith). Accommodation will be at lake Eyasi safari lodge.

After hunting drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro crater game view en route. Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 Zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa.

The book Serengeti shall never die proves this beyond doubt, the ecosystem of Serengeti from Gnus, Zebra, Predators to dung beetles enhances food chain! Southern Serengeti, in short, plain grass, is the home for the birthing of Gnus. The short plain grass is rich in minerals salts for newborn, end of February – march is when Gnus delivers new babies depending on the availability of grass and water. If not conducive then pregnancies can be held for 2 more months. Dinner and overnight will be inside the park at Osupuko tented camp.

As the mornings are cool, many of the animals who are most active at night will still be out and about. Cheetah and lion will be hunting, along with the rarer African wild cat, bat-eared fox and honey badger. While Serengeti has a variety of wildlife, it has a very large population of gazelles, making it a prime hunting area for cheetah. There are many types of birds in the area as well. The Serengeti plains scenery, wildebeest spectacular will be all around you and as far into the distance as your eye (even with binoculars) can see. Dinner and overnight will at Osupuko tented camp.

Early Morning, game drive in Serengeti national park. I f you are interested you will have a good time at Olduvai Gorge museum then transfer to Ngorongoro Crater rim game viewing en-route. Dinner and overnight will be at Rhino lodge inside Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for the game drive. While in the crater you will be able to see a big five animals like lions, rhino and elephants.

Ngorongoro is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, and its 304 sq km floor is the ultimate ‘Big Five’ destination, home of the elephant, lion, leopard, Black rhino, buffalo and others, the caldera holds over 25000 different species of animals.. Two main geological rifts through the area. Oldupai Gorge & Laitoli Foot Prints. Nine volcanoes in the Ngorongoro highlands were formed during the past 4 million years. One of these, Oldoinyo Lengai, is still active.

Afternoon ascend the crater drive to Arusha and transfer to airport.
