4-Days Tanzania Southern Private Safari is a perfect Tanzania Safari suitable for solo travellers, couples, families and small group of friends travelling together in the Southern destination of Tanzania.
In southern Tanzania, on the northwestern side of Nyerere National Park, lies two small, quite offbeat national parks, namely Mikumi and Udzungwa Mountains NP. Mikumi NP is easily accessible by road and it supports a large number of elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and others. Moreover, the Udzungwa safari is the most exciting and gives you the chance to do hiking and trekking while enjoying the view of the Sanje Waterfalls on the mountain. The safari starts at 06:00 am from Dar es Salaam.

Itinerary idea in detail
After breakfast, depart at 6:00 am from Dar es Salaam via Morogoro and Chalinze. Drive for 6 to 7 hours to Mikumi National Park while exploring the nature of Tanzania. After arriving in Mikumi National Park, you'll have a bit of game drive till 6:00 pm, then return to your camp
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian Mikumi.
You'll have breakfast at 6:00 am before proceeding with a full-day game drive. Drive to Mikumi National Park where you will see all species of animals and birds. Due to its savannah plains, animals in Mikumi NP are easily accessed. You'll have the opportunity to spot them easily. Have lunch in the mid-noon then advance with a game drive for the rest of the afternoon. In the evening at 6:00 pm, drive back to your Camp.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian Mikumi.
After breakfast at 6:00 am, do a light game drive while proceeding to the Udzungwa Mountains, followed by a walk along the tropical rainforest known as the "Galapagos of Africa". The Udzungwa Mountains are home to several culturally and historically significant sites such as the Magombereka Cave, Bokela, Mwanaruvele Cave, Ndundulu, Nyumbanitu Mountains, and others. In the evening at 6:00 pm, drive back to your camp.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian Mikumi.
After breakfast at the camp, enjoy a 2-3 hour visit a small Maasai village with your packed lunches before driving to Dar es Salaam. You'll arrive in the evening.
