This safari starts from Zanzibar with a morning flight at 07:00 AM with a drop off at Arusha airport then pick up by our driver and advance to the first touch of Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Itinerary idea in detail
Pick up will be from the hotel in Zanzibar to Zanzibar airport to catch a flight at 07:00 AM with the drop off at Arusha airport. You’ll meet our driver who will take you for the game drive in Tarangire National Park. The drive will take you 2 hours after arriving in Tarangire National Park check in and start the game drive in the park. At noon (01:30 PM) you’ll stop for lunch before advancing with the game drive for the rest of the day. Later in the evening around 06:30 PM after the game, you’ll be driven to Karatu.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bougainvillea Safari Hotel.
Early in the morning after breakfast from Bougainvillea Safari Hotel at 06:30 AM make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater for 2.5 hours. Once you reach Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend down an adventurous path into the 600m caldera. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, this massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals such as spotted hyenas and the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, and lion. Enjoy the game for the rest hours till 6:00 pm and later ascend out of the caldera and drive to Serengeti National Park to your camp.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Tented Camp at Serengeti Park.
On this day soon after breakfast at 07:00 am, you will make the full-day game drive. The Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration crossing the Grumeti and Mara rivers (June-August). 2.5 million Wildebeest driven by the same ancient rhythms follow their instincts on the inescapable cycle of life which includes a frenzied territorial conquest, mating, and survival of the fittest. They form a 25-mile (40km) long column, plunge through crocodile-infested waters on their annual exodus north, and replenish their species during a brief population explosion that produces more than 300,000 calves over a 3-week period (October-December) following their 1,200 mile (2,000 km) pilgrimage. You will proceed with your game till 6:00 pm.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest tented Camp at Serengeti Park.
Soon after breakfast from your accommodation at 06:00 AM; you’ll advance with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park with our professional guide who will lead you to the best exploration of Serengeti National Park with the last touches in the Park. Later at 10:00 AM drive to Seronera Airstrip and catch a flight back to Zanzibar for further schedules, this marks the end of our tour!
